It announced the opening its new office located in the Villa Lobos district of Sao Paulo. This location was chosen strategically to be closer to partners, customers, and anyone interested in the Brazilian gambling market. It will act as a hub and serve to cater to the specific needs of the Brazilian market.
Stokastic appointed Daniel Haight to the position of Chief Operating Officer. Haight comes to Stokastic after eight years at Yahoo Sports where he was responsible for the entire paid gaming ecosystem, including all aspects of product development, strategy, and P&L. He was responsible for the successful launch of Yahoo Daily Fantasy and Yahoo Sportsbook.
A subsidiary of Betsson AB obtained its first licenses in Peru for the newly regulated markets. These licenses are for online sports betting and casino games under the Betsson or Betsafe brands. Licenses for Inkabet are also expected to be obtained in the near future.
NVSEP announced that individuals in California, following the announcements of free self exclusion support for Colorado and Iowa, Michigan, Tennessee, the National Voluntaryself-Exclusion Program, will be able to take the proactive self-exclusion step to address their gambling. NVSEP works closely with the California Council on Problem Gambling in order to make sure that the program meets a need.

Together, the companies will develop a skill-based digital experience for poker.
