Zitro has announced the creation of a Corporate Committee for Environmental, Social, and Governance, a Department for Environment, Health, and Safety, and a Department dedicated to Integrated Management Systems. These teams will guide the company in its transformation to a sustainable business model.
The ESG Committee is responsible for guiding Zitro in its efforts to integrate sustainability practices into all of its operations. It will focus on environmental responsibility and social impact as well as ethical governance. EHS oversees Environmental, Health, and Safety issues and promotes sustainable practices, social responsibility initiatives, and circularity.
Four new sub-departments were created to support the Zitro Integrated Management System: the ISO Standards Management Office, the Climate Change Office, the Project Management Office and the Jira Customization Office.
ISO Standards Management Office ensures that all ESG activities are aligned and certified with ISO standards. The department is in charge of quality, documentation and maintenance, as well as improvement, coordination, and coordination, for ISO standards throughout the organization. The IMO also manages ISO audits and conducts internal audits of ISO processes.
Climate Change Office (CCO), a division of Zitro, is committed to fighting climate change. Its main focus is on calculating Zitro’s emissions footprint and improving it continuously. This department performs regular energy audits in order to identify and implement additional sustainability measures.
The Product Management Office plays an important role in integrating sustainability into the software development cycle. The Product Management Office (PMO) is responsible for tracking the time and cost associated with sustainability efforts in projects, working with other departments and the Climate Change Office to implement sustainable practices and facilitating Zitro’s software footprint.
Jira Customization Office supports Zitro in its sustainability efforts by improving Zitro’s Sustainable Calculation Platform. This platform is a carbon footprint tracking system that has been integrated into Zitro’s product. This platform allows for project planning, carbon foot print calculations, and automation based on ISO standards.
Zitro has taken a proactive approach in integrating sustainable practices within its core business. The ESG Committee and the EHS and IMS Departments are a testament to this. Zitro hopes to establish industry benchmarks in corporate responsibility and sustainability by consolidating its efforts under the ESG Corporate Committee.
Johnny Viveiros Ortiz is the founder of Zitro. He said, “We are proud of these initiatives because they represent our commitment to sustainability.” With the ESG Corporate Committee, and dedicated departments, Zitro is poised to be a leader in the industry by setting an example.
