Bill Esdaile, former MD and founder of the company, Bill Esdaile, moves to Chairman position
Square in the Air, a global award-winning agency that specializes in marketing, has promoted Ben Cleminson as CEO. Former Managing Director Bill Esdaile will now become Chairman.
Cleminson was the first employee to join Square in the Air in 2007. He has worked with Esdaile, the management team, and the team at Square in the Air to turn the agency into a full service marketing agency, serving clients around the globe, and employing more than fifty people in London, Manchester, and New York.
In the restructuring, Robin Hutchison (also formerly a director) who joined the agency in 2011 was appointed Chief Commercial Officer. Ollie Drew who joined Square in the Air in 2006 is now Chief Operating Officer. Esdaile will be reporting to the new leadership team, which includes Robin Hutchison. She joined Square in the Air in 2012 as a Director.
Ben Cleminson is the CEO of Square in the Air. He said: It has been almost 17 years since I first walked into the small office in the house near Stoke.
“I don’t believe Bill or I would have ever imagined where we’d end up today, even though we haven’t seen the same growth that bet365 has.”

Bill Esdaile is the founder and chairman of Square in the Air. He said: I’ve had the loyalty and the support of Ben, Ollie, and Robin over the past 40 years.
“It’s time for me to take on a new role of Chairman, where I will still be strategically involved but give the three others a chance to run the company.
Square in the Air will continue to grow and flourish because of their dedication and hard work.
