How has PandaScore helped the Spanish market?
Spain is a hub of activity in esports. There are many players, teams, and tournaments taking place across Spain’s top esports titles. The market for betting on esports is still in its infancy. Operators have a lot of opportunities to explore. Esports are hugely popular as is traditional betting. PandaScore offers esports betting solutions for operators on the market.
Our markets, odds and betting products are unrivalled and are used by the biggest operators around the globe to take advantage of the esports gambling opportunity. We are at the forefront of esports betting and have many innovative products for the esports industry. We currently cover 308 markets for all major esports titles, including League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO and Call of Duty. We offer Player Props, Winner 2-way, Winner 3way, Maps handicap and Total maps over/under as well as Correct Score, First map/Match result as well as Most kills 2-way or 3-way.
We have also been working hard to create esports-specific micro markets. This will be a major focus for the year. Our esports Bet Builder tool will continue to be promoted. This allows players to create their own bet slips and engage with the community.
What are your company’s goals for Spain in the next 12 months.
We want to help operators unlock the potential of esports betting while also educating esports fans about how they can bet on players, teams, and tournaments with fair, transparent, and reputable operators. We will continue to improve our suite of solutions over 12 months. As mentioned above, we will be rolling new markets on new games, including Valorant, expanding the BetBuilder tool, and introducing esports Microbetting. Our recently redesigned Widgets product will be promoted to Spanish operators. This allows them to seamlessly integrate the Odds solution into their environment, and tailor the front end to suit their branding and player experience goals. These state-of-the art solutions make it possible for operators to expand in the esports betting sector. This will allow us to engage more Spanish operators throughout the year.
What is the Spanish market’s need to increase its esports betting activities?
Spain is not different from other emerging esports betting markets. There is tremendous potential. To fully open the doors, all it takes is education among players and operators, as well as a few tier-one brands launching esportsbooks. This is what we’ve seen in the UK, where we recently partnered with William Hill to help it make its first real move into esports betting. It won’t take long for everyone to join the ranks of the big boys. This presents a great opportunity for smaller brands, especially in Spain, where there is strong demand for esportsbooks but limited competition (for now). Those who do so will be able build loyal and large player bases long before the big players.
