PUBG MOBILE officially announced its first ever esports partnership program, PUBG MOBILE Partner Program. This will allow pro teams to increase their popularity, competitiveness, and contribute to the PUBG MOBILE ecosystem. With PMSL SEA, the program will launch in Southeast Asia. Fans and teams will both benefit from this new chapter of PUBG MOBILE Esports, with guaranteed slots for PMPL or PMSL SEA. PMSL SEA will begin in March with a Spring season, while the Fall Season will take place in August.
The PMSL will bring together the top pro teams from each region. This will increase opportunities for players and provide more action to fans. The PMSL will bring together top pro teams from each region, increasing their visibility to fans and improving their competitive performance. League partnership comes with guaranteed spots in the PMPL or PMSL regions of each team.
This close collaboration between partner teams and PUBG MOBILE league partners will allow the PUBG MOBILE Partner Program to continue growing the esports ecosystem in each region. It will take PUBG MOBILE Esports up a notch!
A PMSL league will be held in Southeast Asia, building on the history of the region hosting the PMPL. It also highlights the popularity of esports within the region where almost two-thirds (or more) of gamers are involved with esports. The PMSL SEA will replace the PMPL SEA championship and become the highest layer of the PMPL. The PMPL’s top teams will be promoted to PMSL and play in both PMPL (and PMSL) leagues. No matter where they are placed in PMPL, all Partnership Program teams will be guaranteed a spot in PMSL. Each year there will be two seasons: a Spring Season and a Fall Season. The performance of both the PMPL/PMSL seasons will determine which teams are promoted to the PUBG MOBILE World Championship (PMGC).
James Yang, Director of PUBG MOBILE global Esports said that “We are incredibly excited to launch this new chapter in PUBG MOBILE Esports through the PUBG MOBILE Partner Program.” “We are blessed with so many incredible teams around the globe that have played a major role in making PUBG MOBILE a success, and now we have the chance to work closer with them.” The Partnership Program and respective PMSL will make it easier for players, fans, and teams to enjoy a better experience.
All these changes mean that PMPL SEA will be available to fans on February 15th. As they fight to qualify for the new PMSL SEA League, teams from Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand, Malaysia, and the SEA Wild Card (Philippines Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore) all start their regional Spring Seasons this Wednesday.
