The A-Leagues is the highest level of football competition in Australia and New Zealand. It has expanded its official data partnership with Stats Perform, a sports AI and technology giant, and introduced the Opta Search, Opta Stream, to unlock new sponsorship inventory and increase engagement for its men’s, and women’s, flagship competitions.
Stats Perform will continue to use its trusted Opta data, widgets and toolkits for A-League’s official fan platforms, including aleagues.com.au and the Official A-Leagues App, as well as A-Leagues’ social media channels and YouTube videos.
Opta’s data feeds will be used to power the new Opta Stream. This is a rolling, automated and sponsored visual of game statistics, live text commentary and milestones.
Stats Perform has also included Opta Search as the third tool in OptaAI Studio. This set of tools allows sports content professionals to have access to advanced sports storytelling. Opta Search allows A-League editors, presenters, and communications teams, to enrich their coverage by incorporating enthralling insights and milestones across games, teams, and seasons, from Opta’s vast statistics database.
Stats Perform will use its products in the Isuzu UTE A-League Men, which starts on October 18 and the Ninja A-League Women, which begins on November 1.
