The Global Esports Premier League, hosted by the JetSynthesys Cricket video game Real Cricket on mobile, provides the most immersive and feature-rich cricket experience to mobile users. The tournament last year attracted more than 200,000 registrations. It culminated with a selection process which identified the top 64 players, who formed eight teams. Eight teams competed in a thrilling finale to win global esports fame. GEPL S1 had a cumulative multiplatform audience of 70mn+. It was also streamed by JioCinema, which saw a significant viewing of over 1.1mn+ minutes.

The second season will introduce a new team format, league guidelines and a more competitive framework. This builds on the success of Season 1, which saw GEPL’s first season. Real Cricket 24 is the benchmark for cricket simulation, with its nuanced gameplay and challenging mechanics. It also focuses on strategy. The GEPL Season 2 finals are scheduled to take place in January 2025. This is when the best teams will compete on a global level for the prestigious ‘e-Cricket Icon title’.
