HLTV announces the finalist for the HLTV Awards, presented by 1XBET, including Team of The Year, Women’s Team Of The Year, Rookie Of The Year and Women Player of the year. The top Counter-Strike players will be in Serbia, Belgrade for an evening of celebrations and awards on the 11th of January 2025.
The final award selection, selected by HLTV’s expert staff, honors individuals and teams who have had a significant impact on competitive Counter-Strike since 2024. Team Spirit, the winners of the Perfect World Shanghai Major; Imperial, the winners of ESL Impact League Season 6; and Ana “ANa”, who is vying to win a third Women’s Player of Year title, are among the finalists.

HLTV began its official Player of the year countdown on December 25th. Every day, a new player from the top 20 of 2024 will be revealed. The top three players will then be announced on the 11th of January, just before the award ceremony. The HLTV website, as well as social media channels, allows fans to follow the countdown.
The remaining finalists will be announced after the panel and community finalists have been revealed. These awards include Skin of the year, Closer of the year, Highlight of the year, and Event of the years. The panel awards, which are selected by top broadcasters and teams in the industry, are determined by votes from fans on the HLTV site.
