Sorare, a global sports entertainment company has entered into a four-year licensing agreement with the Premier League.
As part of the free-to-play online fantasy football league, Sorare will be able to release digital cards from players from all 20 Premier League clubs. This will give fans another way to connect to their favorite clubs and players.
Premier League fans can now sell, buy, collect and build teams using digital player cards. They can also compete against their teams in Sorare’s fantasy football game for prizes. Sorare also announced exciting new gameplay features to mark the partnership. These include league-specific competitions and draft-based gameplay.
Premier League is the most popular football competition in the world. It has a long history entertaining both domestic and international sports fans. Premier League games are shown to 880 million households across 188 countries by 90 broadcasters and more that 400 channels. Nearly a billion people follow the Premier League and its clubs on social media.
Sorare has more than three million players worldwide and is a popular online sport game. It offers the Premier League another avenue to connect with its fans.
Since its 2018 launch, Sorare has seen incredible growth and demand. It partners with more than 300 sporting organizations to launch cards featuring their players. It also partnered with the NBA and MLB in 2022 to expand into basketball and baseball. This latest partnership marks a significant milestone for the company. Sorare counts among its ambassadors and advisors athletes like Serena Williams and Zidane as well as Gerard Pique and Blake Griffin.
