The Betting and Gaming Council has announced their AGM for 2025 on Thursday, 27th February. They have a stellar line-up of speakers.
The event will be hosted in a central London venue. Speakers include Baroness Twycross of the Gambling Commission, Stuart Andrew, MP, Shadow Secretary-of-State, and Andrew Rhodes, CEO of the Gambling Commission.
BGC AGM 2025 will feature industry leaders and operators from the diverse and growing BGC membership.
This year, following the hugely successful AGM of last year, the focus will be how BGC members work together to deliver a White Paper, boost economic growth, continue to provide entertainment for their clients, and raise standards.
BGC CEO Grainne H. Hurst encourages members to register soon for the AGM in 2025.
She said: “The BGC AGM has always been a highlight of our industry, and I’m absolutely thrilled to announce such an outstanding lineup of keynote speakers for this year’s AGM.
“I would also like to thank Baroness Twycross and Stuart Andrew for making time to attend.
“I want to express our appreciation for the vital role that members play in the industry on behalf of their members and tens thousands of jobs.
“The government has set out an ambitious mission to deliver jobs, growth and investment. I know that our members, championed and supported by the BGC have a crucial role to play in achieving this challenge across the UK.
The theme of this year’s AGM, Making a difference, is a fitting one, as we enter a new phase, following the publication the White Paper.
After a period of insecurity, we look forward to working together with the Government to implement the excellent policies in the White Paper, so that our sector can return to doing what it does best – making a difference to their millions of clients and the UK’s economy.
The AGM is a great way to start the rest of the season. I urge everyone to sign-up soon and I am looking forward to seeing you at our AGM next February.
