British Esports announced plans to increase investments in the state of the art National Esports Performance Campus, the UK’s premier esports education and training facility.
British Esports announced that it has acquired a multi-purpose entertainment venue as well as new esports accommodation to complement its internationally-recognized esports facilities.
The National Esports Performance campus, which is now a multifunctional venue for creative, sporting and educational activities, represents a multimillion-pound investment in Sunderland. It brings the total area to more than 30,000 square feet.
The NEPC is easily accessible from the hub. It and the Grade II-listed townhouses are located in a conservation area that was established in 17th century. The esports and gaming house are currently being renovated on four floors.
The fully self-contained properties can accommodate up to 25 guests. They will include separate living and entertainment areas as well as a gaming room and cutting-edge digital performance.
The fully managed accommodation will be a catalyst for player and team performance, as well as a healthier, more balanced lifestyle.
The National Esports Performance Campus is a 11,000 square foot esports training and education complex. It will open in the late 2023. It is spread over two floors and features state-of-the-art creative, educational and coaching facilities. There are provision for more than 150 students.
The venue will include the latest digital and computing technology, a 100-seat esports arena and dedicated esports training room, classrooms, performance, and training rooms, as well as broadcast and content production facilities. Sim racing is also available.
British Esports, as a founding member, will be the first of its 120 members to have a dedicated esports campus. This will ensure that the UK continues to lead the development and infrastructure of esports education.
