Dream Games, a mobile game company based in Istanbul announced that it will expand its operations to the UK and open a new office in central London. To accelerate its incredible growth, the company has also hired Richard Hocking, an ex-King marketing executive and Anju Sethi, an ex-Google executive and King executive as Chief Marketing Officer.
The company’s London office opens at a very exciting point in its history. Three years ago, Dream Games’ original release, Royal Match, was launched. It has since gained a loyal fanbase of millions all over the globe and is consistently ranked as the top 3 most-sold game in the US. With a valuation of $2.75 billion, Dream Games quickly rose to be one of the most valued private mobile gaming companies in the world.
Soner Aydemir is the co-founder and CEO at Dream Games. He said that Dream Games has ambitious growth plans and that the opening of the London office is the next step in this journey. We want to grow our international reach and attract the best talent to make Dream Games one of the top entertainment companies worldwide. We are also pleased to welcome Richard (and Anju), both outstanding and significant new hires at Dream Games as we continue to grow our dynamic company in London and Istanbul. With their extensive experience in the gaming and technology sector, they bring exceptional knowledge to the team.
Richard joined King as the Global Head Marketing. He was responsible for overseeing the marketing organization, including growth and communications teams. He spent 12 years with Starcom Mediavest, where he managed Starcom Mediavest’s Performance Marketing team.
