The Stanleybet Group, which has been in existence for 65 years, has restyled the brand to honor historical events. This decision preserves the ideals of the group while giving the brand flexibility and dynamism.
After 65 years of history, the Stanleybet Group announces that it will be resizing all brands in its portfolio. In 1958, the business was founded as a bookmaker. Over the years, it has evolved into a consolidated company that is active in the development and creation of virtual games and platforms. Stanleybet has relaunched its brand and is now looking at the future of the global marketplace, where it has played a leading role. It does this by balancing tradition with innovation and enthusiasm with dynamism.
Giovanni Garrisi is the Group’s CEO. He stated: “Since the first time we considered rebranding, our goal was to continue to embody our core values – Strength Dynamism, Balance – while responding both to industry changes and to new styles and trends that used to communicate a message.
Ivan Fantasia, Head Brand, Marketing & Communications at the Stanleybet Group, stated: “My team & I evaluated different options, ranging in riskier choices to bolder ones. The brand was in use at the time, so we decided to carefully redesign it. This result is something that even less experienced eyes may not be able to see. The token will be the symbol of the actual change. The token’s diagonal ‘cut’, which divides it, symbolises the balance of tradition and innovation. Along with the slope of the Stanleybet trademark letter letters, the slope of this cut has been adjusted to 18 degrees. The number 18deg has significant symbolic resonance. It is not only a way to redefine visual equilibrium but also because of the gambling age limit and positive connotations in other numerologies such as strength, luck and prosperity. The token’s small section will have a different colour than the background. This will allow us to celebrate an historic event, regardless of whether it is cultural, sporting or customary.
