Austrian Lotteries’ iGaming arm win2day has extended its partnership with Austrian Tennis Association (OTV).
This agreement will see win2day as the title sponsor for the win2day Austrian National Championships, and the win2day Wheelchair Tennis National Championships.
The operator will also support the men’s, women’s, and disabled tennis divisions. This will be known as win2day’s IMMOunited Wimbledon Tennis Bundesliga.
win2day also selected Nico Langmann, an Austrian wheelchair tennis player, to be a tennis ambassador over the next two-years.
Austrian tennis is very popular. We reach officials, players and events through our commitment. The win2day sponsorship portfolio also includes other sports, but the main focus is on the domestic scene. “Nico, the Austrian tennis star at the top, will be an ambassador for us in our long-term partnership to establish fair play. Tennis is a perfect match,” Georg Wawer (Managing Director of win2day) said.
“I am extremely happy that we have found an excellent partner who will support the Austrian Tennis Federation’s most important activities, such as the national league and national championships, and inclusion, which is a very close topic to me personally, in the next years.” Thomas Schweda (Managing Director of OTV) said that win2day had shown in the past how much they care about disabled sports.
It is wonderful to see, and I personally am very happy that such a high-calibre business is so invested in our sport and wants support it. Jurgen Melzer, OTV’s sports director and Davis Cup captain, said that win2day is also active in other sports.
OTV now has a significant Austrian partner, win2day. This partnership will support all OTV competitions simultaneously for the first time. This partnership will not only improve the win2day OTV National Championships and the IMMOunited German Bundesliga presented by win2day but also allows us to initiate or intensify projects within wheelchair tennis. Markus Ambrosi (OTV’s Marketing/Sponsoring Manager) thanked the public for their trust.
