Arena Racing Company (ARC), confirmed the purchase by Arabian Racing Organisation Ltd. (ARO). ARO is the only Arabian Racing Authority in Britain. It operates with the support of the British Horseracing Authority, (BHA), and manages all aspects of the sport’s integrity, fixture list, and promotion.
Genny Haynes and Willie McFarland, who are ARO experts, will continue to provide the 2023 fixture listing, which covers a program of Arabian races on British racecourses.
ARC, Britain’s largest racing organization, has been a long-term supporter of ARO and hosts events at many racecourses throughout the summer Arabian Racing season.
Genny Haynes is the Chief Executive Officer at ARO. She said that ARO was delighted to sign the agreement with ARC. ARC has been a great supporter of ARO for a number years. The majority of our races are run on ARC coursecourses.
ARO is now in a position where it can develop new revenue streams with the goal of increasing the sport’s visibility within the UK. Our Arabian Group races are now secure. We aim to host the best Arabians in the world and provide a platform for domestic horses to grow. We look forward to continuing our work in grassroots Arabian racing which is an integral part on our domestic programme.
