Play’n GO announced that it has acquired a Swedish B2B supplier’s licence. This will ensure that Play’n GO, the world’s largest gaming entertainment provider, will continue to supply its unparalleled catalogue of games in Sweden.
Play’n GO continues to grow internationally, but this renewal of the licence shows that the company is still committed to the European market. In this case, it was specifically Sweden, which was its founding country.
Play’n GO’s famous catalogue of games includes Book of Dead, and the 2023 smash hit Legion Gold, as well as the Reactoonz series, which is among 300 premium titles in their portfolio.
After the acquisition of the Connecticut iGaming State license a few weeks ago, the Swedish licence acquisition is now the second of 2023.
The company also entered new regulated markets in 2022. These included the Canadian province of Ontario and the US states of New Jersey (Michigan), West Virginia (West Virginia), and Michigan (Michigan).
Magnus Olsson is the Chief Commercial Officer of Play’n GO. He said that Sweden is Play’n GO’s “home turf.” While we are a global company with staff and customers around the globe, we still have our roots in Sweden. We are honored to have been granted one of the first licenses by Spelinspektionen.
“Of course, our goal is to continue providing the best casino gaming experience for Swedish players as we have done for almost 20 years.
Operators in Sweden use our content to keep their players engaged and happy. With innovative cross-sell slot games like Gerard’s Gambit looming, I doubt the Swedish market has seen the full potential of Play’n GO.
“We thank Spelinspektionen very much for granting our license so quickly. This allows us to keep leading the way in providing the best and most entertaining casino experience in Sweden.
