Spielworks, a blockchain startup that specializes in gaming and decentralised financial (DeFi) solutions, has completed its 8th season. It saw 37,000 new members join the game and over 200,000 NFTs were minted. The season concludes just before the beta launch of “DungeonWorlds”, a huge new expansion that is due to launch in Q3 2023.
“Wombat Dungeon Master,” demonstrated the power and effectiveness of NFTs to engage with brands and creators. With 2000 NFTs being minted, 37,000 new players, and additional rewards in Spielwork’s $WOMBAT token, the game’s eighth season proved to be its most successful. Spielworks has launched “Dungeon worlds”, which brings users-owned NFT staking experiences. Just like the original “WDM”, “Dungeon worlds” is organized into seasons. Each season starts and ends across all dungeons.
Spielworks conducted recent land and Wombat character drops in advance of the beta launch on the WAX- and Polygon-based blockchains. At a later date, additional networks like EOS and BNB chain will be added. Each blockchain contains 10,000 land tiles that contain different geographical features and materials. The map of “Dungeon worlds” includes Wombat characters discovering them. Players can use NFTs to improve their characters and dungeons. They also have interoperability between all dungeons in their respective chains.
Spielworks is the creator of one of the most popular blockchain gaming ecosystems on the market. It has over 3,000,000 signups and 65,000 daily active users. It includes its multi-chain, non-custodial Wombat wallet, crypto rewards platform Womplay with 40 AA- or AAA-supported titles, as well as Top 15 NFT staking Wombat Dungeon Master, which counts 1.5 million staked NFTs.
“We are getting great feedback from our community members as a result of our recent character and land drops. We’re closer to the ‘Dungeon worlds’ beta launch. Our players and creators are empowered to create utility through an engaging gaming experience and user-owned NFT stakestaking. We are working on exciting new game modes and features, including battle mode, clan wars and cross-chain dungeon integration,” Adrian Krion (CEO and Co-Founder at Spielworks) said.
