“With his vast leadership experience, Mr Cantwell can lead RWA and present an confident and united voice for its members,” Nick Minchin (Chairman of Responsible Wagering Australia), said.
Nick Minchin said, “His deep understanding on social policy, gambling, and government position him perfectly as RWA’s leader and its members as they continue to promote responsible wagering, advocate for the highest standards within the sector, and support socially responsible wagering.”
Mr Cantwell stated, “It is an honor to be able to work with RWA members and sporting and racing body bodies and governments at all levels to ensure that we continue to get the right balance between protections and regulation and freedoms.”
“As we increase research, data, and insights capability, i look forward to leading RWA in understanding problem gambling behaviour and identifying effective solutions.”
