Stake, the fastest-growing cryptocurrency gambling and gaming company in the world, is thrilled to announce that it will sponsor the eagerly awaited debut of Tenshin Naukawa, world champion kickboxer, on Saturday, April 8.
After going toe-to-toe in 2018 with Floyd Mayweather, the Japanese sensation, Nasukawa, retired in 2022 with a 40-0 record in kickboxing. He will now focus his attention on his boxing career. Nasukawa will take on No.4 ranked Japanese bantamweight Yuki Yonaha.
The event will take place at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena, which has a capacity of 15,000 and was previously used as a venue for the 2020 Olympics. It also hosted concerts for Charlie XCX and Billie Eilish.
This is Stake’s fourth major sponsorship of Japan boxing in the last year. The brand was previously present at the ringside of the World Middleweight unification fight between Gennady Gorlovkin and Ryota Murata in April 2022. It also attended the highly anticipated rematch between Naoya Ioue and NonitoDonaire in June, and the Light Flyweight title match between Kenshiro Teraji and Hiroto Kyoguchi.
Stake branding, as the official betting partner for the event, will be prominently featured on Tenshin’s gloves, in the stadium inventory, and in the ring, where there is plenty of high-quality action throughout.
The Prime Video Presents Live Boxing card also features Kenshiro Teraji, a Japanese sensation, vs. Anthony Olascuaga, for the Unified WBC/WBA/WBO World Light Flyweight Championship, former two-weight champion Kiko Martinez, who will face Reiya abe, as well as a Welterweight fight between Keita Obara & Jin Sasaki. The main card will be rounded out by Takuma Inoue vs. Liborio Solis for the WBA World Bantamweight Championship. All of these fights will be streamed live on Amazon Prime’s fourth installment in their Live Boxing series.
This partnership adds to Stake’s global sponsorship portfolio that includes deals with Formula One’s Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake and Everton’s English Premier League team, as well as international multi-platinum artist Drake.
