Martin Clarke, a pioneer in sports betting design, development and strategy, has been named Chief Product Officer (CPO), of OddsMatrix – EveryMatrix’s leading division for sportsbooks.
Clarke, a highly experienced sports product expert, spent a significant part of his career with Betfair, delivering innovative products such as Cash Out, Fast Markets and Bet Builder. He rebuilt Metric Gaming’s B2B platforms and its proprietary horseracing, soccer, US sports, and betting products.
Clarke is a seasoned trader and risk manager with extensive experience in designing and developing multiple platforms, features, and brands. He also manages diverse teams and produces award-winning technology.
The new OddsMatrix CPO is responsible for various areas within the EveryMatrix sport business unit, reporting to Tor Skeie, who was appointed as OddsMatrix’s new CEO in February of this year.
This includes product strategy, developing and communicating a product vision and roadmap ;enhancements of existing products like a new scalable sports front-end; prioritising stakeholder requests for new features and improvement; project management; and quality assurance.
OddsMatrix is a company that has experienced a significant growth. It recorded a 28% increase in gross profits year-over-year, and won several high-profile customers by 2022. It includes Bet-at home, which replaced its legacy platform using EveryMatrix Technology, and beat 25 competitors to win a tender for the Hungarian Lottery, providing an end-toend suite of advanced digital sport betting software solutions for TippmixPro, its online brand.
