Superbet Group announced that Jimmy Maymann has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of its Board.
Jimmy Maymann has extensive experience at senior and board level leadership, as well as a track record of innovation and entrepreneurship. He is a specialist in the creation, growth, and transformation companies within the technology and media sectors, including digital services, telecoms, and non-profits.
Jimmy is a seasoned investor who has been involved in the growth and creation of over 10 companies. He was also part of a few of their exits. One of the best examples of this is the online video platform Goviral which he founded and later sold to AOL.
Jimmy is currently the chair of UNLive, a start-up NGO (curated content global platform), TV2 Denmark and AirHelp Inc.
Jimmy served as the Executive Vice President of AOL’s content brands. He reached a global audience each month of 499,000,000 unique visitors. He was previously the CEO of The Huffington Post. His responsibilities included designing and implementing an international expansion plan that led to the creation of editions across 15 different international markets. This helped to fuel the growth of the audience from 35 million to 210 millions unique visitors per month.
