Registrations are now open for the annual conference of the International Association of Gaming Regulator, which will be held in Gaborone (Botswana) from 16-19 October.
This year’s event, hosted by Botswana Gambling Authority, has the theme: “Bringing Ideas Together: The Exchange of Excellence and Innovation in Regulatory Practice.”
Jason Lane, IAGR’s President, stated that “IAGR-2023 is a 4-day event for IAGR Members and Industry Thought Leaders. It brings together regulators and industry leaders to share ideas, and help shape the future gaming regulation around the world.”
The conference is a follow-up to the sold-out event held in Melbourne, Australia last year.
Peter Kesitilwe said, “We are proud to host IAGR in Botswana 2023 and we look forward to welcoming global peers to our beautiful nation.”

IAGR announced two speakers for the conference. More will be announced in the next few weeks.
- Earle G. Hall, Chairman, International Gaming Standards Association and CEO of AXES.ai, “Artificial Intelligence will transform our Industry”
- Andrew Rhodes, CEO of United Kingdom Gambling Commission : “Impact on the Gambling Act Review”.
