SPORTFIVE announced a partnership with the Saudi Esports Federation to provide strategic support for sales and project management across a variety of initiatives.
The main component of this is to provide the necessary support in the role of the main partner agency for Gamers8: The Land of Heroes – the world’s largest esports festival. The event in Riyadh is scheduled to run for eight weeks starting on July 6.
Gamers8 organized esports events for PUBG mobile, Dota 2 and Fortnite as well as concerts by the Black Eyed Peas and Marshmello. The event featured the top esports teams in the world, including Team Liquid and G2 Esports. OG Esports was also there, as well as Team Falcons.
SPORTFIVE started working with SEF in the last year, providing marketing, strategic support for sales, project management, on-site assistance, and follow-up. SPORTFIVE is looking to assist SEF with the development of partnership documents and commercial documents. They will also help SEF update and maintain marketing materials in order to show SEF and Gamers8 as a brand to potential investors and sponsors.
SPORTFIVE has been engaged by SEF to guide them in optimizing their overall sales strategy to ensure partnerships to protect the rights of the Federation. SPORTFIVE ensures that uniform and effective strategies will be implemented by all market participants. SPORTFIVE’s extensive network of contacts will be used to identify and approach new potential partners to SEF’s flagship event, Gamers8: The Land of Heroes.
Mohammed Alnimer is the Senior Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager for the Saudi Esports Federation. He said, “The Saudi Esports Federation looks forward to continuing its partnership with SPORTFIVE, and building on the success achieved at Gamers8 last year. Gamers8: the Land of Heroes will be our flagship event in summer. It is the largest esports festival and gaming festival on earth. This event will help Saudi Arabia to achieve its ambitions of being a global hub of esports. We look for international organizations that share the same vision with us. SPORTFIVE is one such organization.
Alexis Barrassin said, “At SPORTFIVE we are delighted to have partnered up with the Saudi Esports Federation. This partnership represents a major milestone in our efforts in order to grow our presence further in the MENA Region. We are committed in building a lasting partnership with SEF, and we will leverage our collective expertise to provide exceptional service to Saudi Arabia’s biggest stakeholders. This partnership strengthens our position in the Middle East, and we’re excited to explore innovative ideas and new opportunities that will benefit both organisations.”
