SBC is celebrating the success of its CasinoBeats Summit 5th Edition, which has broken all previous records.
This casino-focused event, held at the InterContinental Hotel, Malta from the 23rd-25th of May, saw a 50% increase in attendance and more than 3,000 registered delegates. The number of sponsors, exhibitors and other participants also doubled.
The event brought together the industry’s crème de la crème and presented an engaging conference agenda centered around discussions about products and markets. Over 200 distinguished speakers addressed a range of topics at the summit, including leadership, market regulations, affiliates, game mechanics, and player psychology.
Among those who spoke were Andrew Rhodes (CEO of UKGC), Silvia Hoope (Group CMO at Wunderino & Mybet), Alexander Martin, (CEO SKS365), Dainis Niedra (CEO Enlabs & Entain), Elena Shaterova, (CCO 7777 Gaming), Andrew Rushgrove, (Managing Director – Gaming, Sky Betting & Gaming), and others.
The variety of topics, and the depth with which they were discussed, was what I found most impressive. I have noticed that most conferences cover generic topics, but here we dive into specific and deep subjects. There were people from Game Lounge who are actually working on sites and who constantly work with regulatory commissions. This was a great addition.
The Summit also provided attendees with an exciting show floor that featured a diverse group of fifty exhibitors. The Game Innovators Stage was a new opportunity for game providers to present their latest titles to attendees. The Game Innovation Zone offered attendees the opportunity to further engage with the game studios.
Rasmus Sjmark CEO & Founder SBC: “This year’s CasinoBeats Summit exceeded all expectations and has been our most successful edition yet. We set out on a quest to reinvent the concept and create an immersive experience that would engage the casino industry. The introduction of game presentations, streamer session on the exhibition floor and six dedicated workshops as well as roundtable discussions were game changers.
The event offered a wide range of educational and business opportunities. Attendees fully embraced them.
The CasinoBeats Summit offered a wide range of networking opportunities, both daytime and nighttime. This allowed attendees to maximize their experience. The event schedule featured multiple gatherings, including the IMGL Breakfast Meetup and Women in Gaming Breakfast. The Affiliate Lunchtime Meetup was also included. The pre-registration reception and networking party at SKYBeach and InterContinental. The official CasinoBeats summit Networking Party took place at The Edge and Radisson. The CasinoBeats Closing Party was held at Infinity by Hugo’s.
“I found networking to be very valuable. What is amazing is that all delegates are able to attend the parties. This is vital in this industry. I met many people and had insightful conversations with industry leaders. “The entire experience was powerful”, said Dorota Grzyska Marketing Manager of Booming Games.
Exclusive affairs, such as the Affiliate Leaders’ VIP Dinner or the SBC Leaders and C-level VIP dinner, provided the perfect atmosphere for like-minded people to engage in meaningful discussions in a relaxed yet formal environment.
The Game Developer Awards was the culmination of the event. Arsenal legend Gilberto Silva, and returning host Trudy Kirr took the stage. The Game Developer Awards presented 23 awards to recognise outstanding achievements and honor the best individuals, companies, and casino titles. Among the many deserving winners were Relax Gaming, BGaming and Barbara Bang, as well as Brian Christopher.
We are very fortunate to have game developer studios of such high quality attend our event. This was a wonderful opportunity to showcase their work, and to help raise the profile of these studios,” sojmark concluded.
The 21-23 May 2024 will be held at the InterContinental Hotel, Malta, following the huge success of the CasinoBeats Summit.
