A tech and platform provider continues to establish themselves as the go-to supplier in Africa, with the opening a new facility in Dakar
Honore Gaming has opened a state-of-the art office in Dakar, Senegal’s capital, which is the home of the fastest-growing African market.
A ceremony was held to mark the occasion. Honore Gaming employees, as well as senior managers from Lonase National Lottery Operator, attended. Lonase CEO, Mr Lat Diap, gave a speech. Youssou n’Dour, a famous Senegalese musician, performed after the ceremony.
Honore Gaming is the preferred technology partner of land-based sportsbook operators and online casino operators throughout Africa. Its operators are dominant in French-speaking countries such as Congo Brazzaville and Chad, and Senegal.
Honore Gaming opened its Dakar office at a moment when it continues to focus its efforts on French-speaking African market while expanding to English-speaking African market and assessing the opportunities to deploy retail and online technologies in emerging jurisdictions like LatAm.
Africa has been on the radar of operators for several years, but only in recent months have a few tier-one brands made their way to the region. Tier-two operators as well as local betting brands have shown a surge in interest.
Honore Gaming will support these brands and power players as they launch sportsbooks and casino in every jurisdiction. The retail and online platforms and technologies of Honore Gaming allow operators to localise and customize their propositions for each market.
It is important to achieve this, as player preferences vary across the continent, and operators must meet regulatory requirements that are different in each country. Honore’s solutions are designed to make this possible.
Christophe Casanova said, “We’re delighted to open a Senegal office. We continue to establish ourselves in Africa as the leading platform and technology provider. Senegal is an important market for Honore Gaming and its partners. It’s therefore great to be able to support both land-based operators and online ones from the country.
“Africa is a market that has attracted interest for many years, but now there’s a real buzz in the region as more brands want to join the party. Our platform and solutions are specifically designed for Africa. This allows operators to deliver sportsbook and gaming experiences that meet and exceed players’ expectations.
Honore Gaming has achieved a significant milestone by offering this service from a Senegalese office. This will help us to continue our success.
