Kambi Group plc (Kambi), the trusted partner in sports betting around the world, has obtained B2B gambling licenses to continue to provide its leading sports betting technology to licensed operators.
The permits announced by the Swedish Gambling Authority last week will allow Kambi to continue powering some of the leading sportsbook operators on the market for another five years, effective 1 July 2023.
Last year, a new gambling law was passed in Sweden that requires gambling providers to obtain new licenses to service licensed operators. This is an attempt to reduce the black market size and improve channelisation.
Kambi is live on more than 50 markets that are regulated. In 2022, 94% of the revenue will come from these markets.
David Carter, Chief legal officer at Kambi said: “We’re pleased to have received the necessary B2B gaming permits for Sweden, which, given Kambi’s heritage, has been one of our biggest markets.
This further demonstrates our commitment to upholding utmost standards in compliance and regulatory requirements, which is the cornerstone of Kambi’s success as the leading B2B Sportsbook in the world.
