A rapidly-expanding iGaming group announces a major industry move, bringing in the former CEO of Gaming Innovation Group to fill a C-level position
After a period of sustained growth, driven by its B2C brands LuckyCasino & HappyCasino’s success, and Swintt’s increasing popularity as a B2B content provider, Glitnor has announced that Richard Brown, the company’s new CEO, will take over in January 2024.
Brown, who held the same role at Gaming Innovation Group before joining Glitnor, will bring with him a wealth industry experience and the expertise needed to take the company to new heights. The appointment of Brown, who has over 15 years’ experience in iGaming, including C-level, managerial and senior positions, is seen as a significant move by the group, as it continues to grow.
Brown, in his previous role as GiG CEO oversaw the growth of the company. During this time, it entered new markets and made a number high-profile purchases. Brown leaves the group after leading GiG to record revenue in Q1 of 2023. He will now use his organisational leadership skills and business development to achieve similar results at Glitnor.
Brown, who has been at Glitnor for almost four years now, will assume the leadership of the company at the start of 2024. This is a time of exciting and important changes in the business. The group aims to expand its global presence further by building and nurturing strong iGaming and games development studios across Europe, North America and LatAm.
Glitnor wants to continue the incredible growth the company has seen since its founding in 2018. The company, which has around 200 employees worldwide, was nominated for three categories in the EGR Nordics Awards, held in February. This included the highly coveted Employer 2023. Swintt’s B2B Content House was shortlisted in five categories for the recent EGR B2B Awards.
Brown, who has a strong business background and extensive experience in both the public and private sectors, will be able to leverage his expertise and knowledge to further capitalize on the position that the group is securing in various markets and verticals.
